Healthy Recipe: Pre Workout Snack Balls
These healthy, easy to make raw treats are my go-to pre or post workout snack!
Use rolled oats as your base. Add peanut or other unsweetened nut butter, maple syrup, brown rice syrup or honey.
Extras can include protein powder, dried fruit, chopped nuts or seeds, chocolate chips… get creative! (I used cricket protein and chocolate chips)
Add whatever flavours you like: vanilla extract, cinnamon etc.
These keep well for about a week stored in a closed container in the fridge. Enjoy!
