Quick and Easy Exercises You Can Do at Home or Work

Many of us have suffered from a stiff or sore neck at one time or another. Not fun! Neck mobility exercises can help improve your posture and reduce neck pain and stiffness.

Here are four gentle exercises and a stretch to finish that can help improve your neck mobility. These exercises can be done at home or at work, and they only take a few minutes to complete.

1. Look Up / Look Down: Slowly look up towards the ceiling, then slowly look down towards the floor. Repeat 10 times.

2. Look Left / Look Right: Slowly look to the left, then slowly look to the right. Repeat 10 times.

3. Side-To-Side Tilts: Slowly tilt your head to the left, then slowly tilt your head to the right. Repeat 10 times.

4. Half Circles: Slowly look down, then circle your head to the left, then slowly bring it down towards your chest, and then slowly circle it to the right. Repeat 10 times.

5: Stretch to Finish: Tilt your head slowly to the right and place your right hand lightly on your head. Keep your opposite shoulder down and feel the stretch. Hold for 20 to 30 seconds and repeat on the other side.

Do these exercises regularly and work towards a pain free neck!
