Fitness Tip of the Week: 3 Stretches For Sciatica Relief
Sciatica is a very uncomfortable condition that can happen when the sciatic nerve, which runs from the lower back to the toes, becomes compressed or irritated.
This pain, which runs through the buttocks and down the back of the leg, can be caused by injury, poor posture or long periods of sitting.
These stretches may help relieve sciatic nerve pain. Do them daily, holding each one for at least 30 seconds.
If you think you have sciatica, check with a doctor before doing any stretching exercises to avoid further injury.
