Fitness Tip of the Week: Strengthen Your Ankles and Feet
The ankle is such an important joint, but ankles often don’t get a lot of attention – until something goes wrong.
With its many bones, tendons and ligaments, your ankles and your feet bear the weight of your entire body while allowing you to walk, run, stand, squat and generally move through life.
When you strengthen your ankles and feet, you can help prevent injury by stabilizing the joint, protecting you from sprains and strains.
Do 12-15 reps of these exercises 3 to 4 times per week. After a few weeks, you’ll feel a difference!
