How’s Your Balance, Based On Your Age?

It’s not uncommon to find you’re getting a little wobbly as you get older. Our ability to balance generally decreases with age.

So how do you stack up? How’s your balance, compared to people in your age group? Here’s the average balance time, broken down by age.

70 years: 4 seconds
65 years: 5 seconds
60 years: 7 seconds
55 years: 8 seconds
50 years: 9 seconds
45 years: 12 seconds
40 years: 16 seconds
30-35 years: 22 seconds
25-30 years: 28 seconds

If your ability to balance isn’t as good as you’d like it to be, practice this as a daily exercise and see how quickly it improves!
